Navigation Preferences

There are 2 main navigation preferences available on the BOOX Tab Series devices. Here we are going to introduce the navigation preferences and how to select one that suits your needs.
Switch to Different Navigation Methods
To switch to different navigation methods, do the following:
- In Home Screen, go to Settings > System Navigation.
- Choose Gestures or Navigation Bar as your navigation preference.
- You can also tap More Settings for customization of your navigation preference.
Gestures
With this navigation method, you can use advanced gestures to navigate your device. The advanced gestures shown below are the default settings. You can go to Settings > System Navigation > Gestures > More Settings to customize your advanced gestures.
Swipe from either side
You can perform customizable quick actions by swiping inwards in from the left or right border.
Swipe right from the left border: Back
Swipe left from the right border: Back
Swipe from the bottom
You can perform customizable quick actions by swiping up in different locations from the bottom border.
Left: Multitasking Switcher
Center: Back Home Screen
Right: E-Ink Center
Navigation Bar
With this method, you can use the navigation bar to navigate your device. The arrangement of the navigation bar buttons shown below are the default settings. You can go to Settings > System Navigation > Navigation Bar > More Settings to choose a preferred arrangement of the navigation bar buttons.
Note: In some apps where the Navigation Bar is automatically hidden, you will need to swipe up from the bottom to call out the Navigation Bar first.
