Boox Pen/Stylus Issues – Unresponsive or Writing Without Touching the Screen
If your Boox pen is unresponsive or writes without touching screen, the issue is likely related to the stylus or its tip/nib.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
If the Pen Is Completely Unresponsive
Test if your Boox tablet responds to finger touch.
If the tablet works with touch input, the issue is likely with the pen or its tip/nib. Try using a different compatible stylus to determine if the problem is with the pen or the device.
If the issue persists even after changing the pen, please check the device's screen version information. Specifically, verify whether the "Capacitive Touch Version" and "Electromagnetic Touch Version" display any abnormalities (such as showing blank or "Unknown").

Replace the Tip/Nib. Ensure the new tip/nib is firmly inserted into the pen.
Restart Your Device: Restart your Boox tablet before testing the new tip/nib.
