Note: The Notes app is only available for models with handwriting functions.
In this article, you will learn more about note syncing to the cloud and between devices.
You can only sync notes to the cloud after logging in to your Onyx account. Please refer to the Onyx Account Sign-up page for more info.
After Firmware V3.2, if you log in to multiple accounts in one device, each user will only see their respective notes and will not see the notes synced to other accounts.
Note: After login, the notes created before login will be synced to your account. If you log out again, the notes will not be seen on the device until you log in to the same account.
After login, your notes will be automatically synced to the cloud with your preferred server. The data on each server is independently stored. Please refer to the Language and Server page for more info.
Note: Please do not change your server after note syncing to avoid data loss and mess.
Note Syncing Between Devices
To sync notes between different devices, make sure you log in to the same account and choose the same server.
Check Notes on the Website
Besides the Notes app, you can also choose to enter one of our send2boox websites on a browser according to your server selection and log in to check your notes.

Check Notes on BOOX Assistant App
Apart from access from the browser, you can also download the BOOX Assistant App on your Android / iOS devices to check notes more conveniently.
Android: Please click here to download and install on your Android device.
iOS: Please search for "BOOX Assistant" in the App Store to download and install on your iOS device.
Advanced Sync Settings
For more advanced sync settings, do the following:
- In Home Screen, go to Notes.
- Tap the hamburger menu in the top right corner and choose Sync settings.
