NeoReader physical keyboard issue (Long press & Highlighting text)

I'm using the newest NeoReader on 3.3.1 (Boox Note Air 2). When I connect a physical BT keyboard and try to type on a PDF using NeoReader,

1. I cannot hold shift+ an arrow key to highlight text.

2. I cannot use the home or end keys to skip through text.

3. Copy and Paste shortcuts do not work either. 

4. However long pressing the Enter Key or Backspace key does work. 

Is there any way to resolve issues 1-3?

Does this happen to anyone else? Thanks in advance to anyone that may be able to provide some insight.
