Workflow suggestions for
Hello!
Usually I'm not a huge community forum person but my recently purchased NoteAir forced me to join here. I really like the device. I'm a student who was used to suffer by using onenote on a laptop with poor palm rejection and so the note taking experience when I first tried the NoteAir was balm for my tortured soul. But there are a couple things that I'd love to see you implement into the Neoreader and Noteapp.
-First and foremost: I love the ability to have a script and notepad right next to each other. this is amazing even on the NoteAir's relatively small screen. But the problem I face is that either i don't get the intended way to add notes to my pdf or the workflow that was in mind doesn't suit my style of studying. Either way here is my suggestion:
I'd love to be able to "stick" a note to a specific chapter or page. Currently there is only one notepad for the entire script what makes it a bit hard to find a specific page when having a large amount of notes for each chapter. That might do the trick for many people but I think it would be cool to be able to only see the notes that are relevant for the current page/chapter.
-exporting to pdf is a bit limited. The onyx cloud is fine but unfortunately im stuck with onedrive because it's the most affordable cloud storage solution in my current situation and therefore I want everything in one place without adding extra steps and housekeeping.
I know there is the possibility to add an Onenote account but that's also not really what im looking.
An easy fix would be to make the output directory adjustable. This way a third party onedrive client could do the heavy lifting without messing with another account option.
(At the moment it's possible to define an output directory for notes taken in the neoreader but it's not shared with the notes on a notepad in split view what also feels kinda strange. (I feel like the most useful approach would be to export the pdfs in the same directory as the parent document (maybe with the option to create a "notes" subfolder). that way everything would inherit the desired workflow defined in the directory structure)
-make the maker color adjustable.I know the screen is black and white but I like the feature non the less since it makes the notes future proof in case I want to review them on my PC. Personally I have and hard time to tell red and green apart and the current shades are particularly tricky for me.
-it would be quicker to set the color per pen and not globally. right now i have to change pen and color when highlighting something I just wrote. (It's minor but it adds up quite quickly)
In conclusion:
This devices has so much potential im looking forward for more updates!
