Open any note file on the side-by-side view

Hi!

Here is one change that would make my life a lot easier:

Use case: when reading a book, I would like to be able open any note file and edit it on the side-by-side view.

I have note files per topic, so when I am reading something, I would like to be able to open a note file on the side-by-side view and add or edits my notes in there, and switch between the files.

I also use the per-book note files, to do some math mostly, and probably never looking at those notes again (so I use it mostly as I one time thing, but not always) . 

Don’t know but maybe more people have a similar use case.

  I fully back Eberl's suggestion. It's been three years—what are we waiting for? Having the ability to switch between note files in side-by-side view during reading would immensely improve our note-taking process and reading experience.

  This is possible! I don't know if it's only on my 3.5 beta, but I can open a book in Split view and on the other side of the split view I open notes as normal and edit them. I can switch easily when tapping on the name of the note, click the map-icon and choose another note. I can also close the note with the < and then I'm in the explorer for all my notes! No problem at all! I can even open an app from the app drawer.

  I personally do not have a map-icon when clicking on the name of the note. I do have a folder icon however but it's greyed out so un-clickable.
  I'm using a Note Air2 Plus V.3.3.2 and I do not have another version available..

  So it might be your beta.

  Mmm, that's strange. And if you press the '<' next to the name of an Note in Split view? For me it is opening the 'Note-drawer'. And for me the Map or Folder icon isn't grey. When I click the name it opens a smal window with the name, a pen to change the name and the folder-icon. It works the same as if I am in Notes! Maybe it is the Beta version only? For me Notes operates exactly the same as in normal view..

  You can ask for the Beta version via Settings and Feedback. For me it took 1 day to get the Beta version. I do nog mention any bugs (yet)...

  If I press < it will just save the note and quit the split view.

  Yeah that's exactly what I want, I don't get why it was not implemented !

  Alright I asked for the the beta version lets see if I get an answer.
