neoreader to Readwise Sync

Hi,

I think it would be amazing if you could offer a possibility to sync to readwise. This would enable a direct sync to various notetaking apps like Ream/Obsidian etc. 

Their documentation for the API can be found: https://readwise.io/api_deets. Contacted Readwise aswell. They would be interested.

    I appreciate the helpful idea, but also: this is a hack, this is not a solution, and even worse not the solution we were promised... as a customer I would expect more, after you said this yourself almost half a year ago:

    "We are currently working on the data synchronization feature of the NeoReader and Readwise is on our to-do list. We are sorry that we don't have further info on which device would benefit from this update, and we don't have an estimated release date yet. But we will keep following up on the progress and do our best to get this feature available asap."

    Please stand by your word and deliver on these promises soon. We want to see boox do good and be the product and company it has the potential to be, but this is a slowly slipping missed opportunity to support your customers in a very simple way.

    I want to add my voice to other people here. This would be a fantastic addition to Neo-reader and the Boox devices! The highlight hack is cumbersome. Readwise has a great community and I do see how it would benefit both Readwise and Boox.

    I am looking forward to the progress on that feature.

    can we have this implemented PLEASE! Was looking into purchasing the Onyx Boox Air 2, but I am now considering an iPad instead, just because of the lack of Readwise integration.

    This feature is highly requested but we still don't have any clarity around its launch. There should be a public roadmap that showcases WIP features for user's reference

    Please, please, please develop this capability, it's very important for a majority of your customers, and you can definitely increase the number of your customers with just this one feature/integration.

    I have installed readwise and readwise reader on my devices, and then I share the items from my library or notebooks with the apps as a workaround. This is not ideal. I would also love to see a native integration to sync with readwise or the readwise reader platform.

    I contacted Readwise for this and is on Boox side to implement, I was pointed to the documentation for Boox to use Readwise APIs, available at "https://readwise.io/api_deets". It is sad that Boox does not care for this feature, which really baffles me, is not like Boox can really "close the loop", ecosystem-wise.

    Onyx Boox does have a great product, but at this point, even Amazon's older [and less sofisticated] Kindle from 2018 benefits from Readwise. This begs the question, regarding Boox devices' longevity and value proposition. If a device can not keep up with the customers evolving needs [or even trends] these become obsolete very rapidly; now customers want to be able to build their 'second brain', or capture knowledge from their reading [as leisure, personal growth, or studying literature] to Obisidan or Notion - why the resistance?!

    thank you for the feedback. it would be a great feature to boost at marketing/promotional materials. HW is already superb. Software support, flexibility, interoperability, 3r party integrations, and maturity are key areas to focus on. I am holding back the purchase of an ONYX BOOX AIR2 PLUS while waiting for this feature to be implemented. Regards.

    Any update on this? I've the Onyx Nova Air, which is an awesome device, and I love Neoreader, but I really miss the integration with Readwise.

    Dear Onyx, please reveal how is it possible that MoonReader+ for Android can indeed work perfectly with ReadWise - from a Nova Pro, with some very minor challenges due to the e-ink screen. Then, what can possibly take so long to implement? Please understand, we want to use Boox NeoReader - as its default software, intended for its e-ink screen, etc... this should be a really minor implementation, perhaps even a plugin released as an APK - why is this taking so freaking LONG??

    Being forced to use a third-party APP like MoonReader+ [as the default APP does not support ReadWise] invalidates Onyx 3 pieces of SW: the NeoReader, the Library, and the Dictionaries. Do you see now the impact?

    BTW love you for the latest firmware releases bringing up-to-date Android OS versions
