When will you release Android 9 or newer for Android 6.x devices)?

Shouldn't we trust your promises anymore?

Personally I have a Max 2 device with latest firmware but still on Android 6.0.1.

  We are sorry that we are unable to upgrade the Android version for BOOX products. However, we do have firmware updates and you could check for the updates via the device. Or you could visit the link below for all versions of firmware updates:

  We also have new models in Android 10 and 11. The Nova Air, Nova 3 Color, Note Air, Note 3, and Max Lumi are in Android 10. The Note Air 2, Note 5, and Max Lumi 2 are in Android 11.

  I'll point out that there are apps such as the kindle app that will not install their current version on android 6 any longer, that makes getting an updated version of android much more of a necessity than a nice-to-have
