    Hi

I suppose the correct folder should be /Storage/Fonts, in other words, it should be on the 'root' level when you open the Android File Transfer app, along with other folders such as Android, Books, DICM, Download, etc. If this Fonts folder doesn't exist, just create one.

Also make sure the fonts you're using is in 'OTF' format though.

see this link for more info.

    Hello,

Thanks for that answer. I guess my problem is that I don’t know how to access to the root of the Boox because I see it in FileTransfert but not on the Boox itself. The content is different. So, I managed to create a ‘Storage’ folder with FileTransfert, but I can’t find it anywhere on the Boox.

I must add that the ‘Fonts’ folder that I find in the Boox only contains the font that I imported. And this folder is not visible in FileTransfert. This confirms that I have never been able to access the root folder of the Boox. I do not know where it is.

    Hi Luc,

The 'root' level is actually the default one which's shown when the Android File Transfer app first launch. Please see the below screenshot.

So, just create the 'Fonts' folder and add your fonts (.OTF) there. Make sure not to add any sub-folders within the parent 'Fonts' folder, otherwise, Boox isn't gonna see them.

Thanks again! I did everything you told me to (see the screenshot) but it still doesn’t work. I’m also intrigued that I don’t know where all the other fonts are…

The default Boox fonts are already in the system, somewhere. Users may install their additional font(s) only in the 'Fonts' folder. Now, let's check if your Boox device actually recognizes this additional font you just installed.

Go to your Notepad and create a new one. From there, create a new text box and choose the custom font. Check if your 'BravuraText' is in the list. In my case, I manually put lots of Amazon typefaces in the 'Fonts' folder, so they're there as attached.

This time I got it. My font is well installed on the Boox, but I didn’t notice the ‘Custom’ tab. Everything is in order. Many thanks for your efficient help.

The Bravura and BravuraText are listed properly on my device. Can you try downloading the Bravura fonts again at their Git? At least those are the versions that work for me.

And try changing the folder name to 'font', 'fonts' or maybe 'Font' to see if it triggers Boox to recognize these manually installed fonts.
