Any other note taking app
Hi, does anyone use 3rd party handwriting note taking app with onedrive/googledrive/etc backup system that works well with eink hand writing (handwriting-wise native note app is great but sync is not worth the hassle). I don't want to use onenote as I don't like the way it works and organize, one of microsoft failures in my book even if some people love it, every time I give it a chance I just go - no- no-nooooo. I tried flexcil, squid, evernote - none works well, there is an unacceptable delay and many letters don't get written into the note. I did not want to try noteshelf as it was paid, even though I love it in ipad, I don't know how it would work seeing failure of flexcil and others.
The reason I want to dump native notes app, the sync is very slow, totally inefficient, have lots of bugs, does not work really well with push.box as well. If you try to create some folders and notebooks in push, it takes eons for it to get at note air 2. Also this causes an incredibly stupid sync error - sync takes too long, you cannot save files, you cannot sync -end. I am slightly close to throwing my notes air 2 to the wall to crash it into pieces. I am really sorry to buy this one rather than remarkable (and I searched a lot of reviews and the one caused me to buy was mydeepguide - I don't have any objection to any comment he did, they are all true, but if you try to push the device a bit, it is just a mess). I have notes to take but my notetaking device basically does not work for a week now on handwritten notes.
I don't have any issue with pdf note taking side of things. It works like a charm. I set up autosync with onedrive.
And when I was writing this, I decided I will try to prepare empty pdf note files and have everything go through with autosync. Yeah I will just look into a5 pdf lined digital notebook and carry every note I already took to them and ignore the notes app to end of time. I was about to delete this message, but there may be others who have similar issues and this might be helpful for them as well.
By the way the sync folder size is 177 MB and it could not sync it in a week. this is a new world record in a world we can just download several GB in a few minutes

Well I left the note app behind. I am using pdf note taking side of things and syncing to my onedrive. And it works well. I don't even want to go back and try something on the chance that it might be the improved version. It was definitely not internet issue, because pdf sync works very fast to sync hundreds of files in a few minutes. Whereas notes app could not even sync a few files properly. Also deleting and accessing notes from the backup service is also another nightmare. It took me several days to clean up the backups so that it won't eat up memories on the device. So thanks no thanks.
