Dark mode or inverted colors or day/night mode

The Lomonosov has day/night mode that is effectively a dark/inverted mode. Why don't the Boox readers have this?  The Lomonosov is Android 10, and I'm disappointed that my newer Note 2 Air Plus doesn't have this.

  Dear customer, we apologize for the inconvenience.

  We are afraid that the NeoReader in the BOOX device does not support night mode. However, we have informed our tech team about this feature and we will improve the NeoReader.
   
  In this case, you could download a KOreader app from google play or the built-in app store. After that, you could long-press a document and click "Open with" and use KOreader to open the book. After that, you could use the night mode in the KOreader to read documents.

  Can you guys please finally add option to invert black and white colors?
  
  This feels like a very basic function for reading device.

  Is a "Smart Invert" (where it keeps all images intact and only invert background from text) not one of the first things you need when you want to read information from the web or a document when the sun is down?

  Why  is Boox not offering this basic option when so many are asking for it    ?
