The unfinished tag feature in notebooks
In notepads/notebooks you can create tags, which is nice. You can search for tags within the open notebook, but you can also search in the system's note section where you see all of your notebooks and the subdirs they reside in.
In this section there is also a loupe to start a search, it's in the upper right hand corner. When I use this loupe, I get offered a number of only 10 tags (out of maybe dozens or hundreds which I've created before in different notebooks). Why are there only ten? What about the rest? Do I have to keep a record of all tags I've ever created to be able to search for a specific tag?
Moreover, given the fact that tags are the only feature available to search quickly through a big number of notebooks, this feature lacks a lot of work to be done to make it really useful. And it is disappointing that the problems around the tag feature are well-known for more than two years (afaik). (If you don't know what I mean by the "only feature", look at the Supernote A5 X/A6 X, there you have keywords, titles and stars as search criteria, and by the way, the corresponding star feature of the Boox devices with a triangle and a crippled tri-stroke star doesn't work at all.)
So, I don't want to request a huge system enhancement here, only this feature as follows here which is essential and considered an absolute must-have:
For the global search in notebooks we need a list of all tags ever created, so we can pick any tag to search for without having to remember the tag text exactly.
Cheers!
