Max lumi first gen battery issue

I think I have battery  issue with my max lumi 1. After updating to newest firmware.  My ebook only last  a couple hours of reading and browsing.  Is this normal as before i update. It could last loot longer. I also don't understand what setting. I need to sett to have it for more. A day of use like. It advertised in uk.pcmag.com
