Orginal stylus with wacom felt nibs writing from distance

The title says it all, For my note air 2 I had to replace the original nib once again (they wear out incredibly fast and are very expansive).

This time I went for the Wacom felt nib ACK22213.

Problem is even after repeating the calibration (at least 3-4 times) the pen start writing from 1-1.5cm from the screen.
I checked the length of the nib base and they are exactly the same, 17.07 mm

I've put back on the old nib the pen writes ok.
