Poke 4 Lite problems with Kindle app

It has not always done this, but in the last few months the Kindle app on my Poke 4 Lite has begun to crash. Sometimes I can simply re-open it, sometimes I have to re-start the eReader in order to re-open the app. Any tips on how to fix this?
