Virtual keyboard pops up

The virtual keyboard keeps popping up every time I click on a text to edit while my Bluetooth keyboard is connected. 

In the settings, I cannot find a toggle to turn this off.  I have a Poke 5.

  Dear customer,
  We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, you can connect the device to a Bluetooth keyboard > swipe down from the top left of the screen to bring up the notification center > Click "Configure Physical Keyboard" > After that, please check if you can find the settings of turning off the virtual keyboard when using the physical keyboard.

  However, if the problem persists, we suggest submitting feedback from your device via Settings > Feedback > +. It would be helpful for our tech team to address the issue. We highly appreciate your effort and understanding.
