Update Firmware from Local File

Boox Max 2 . .

I have my update.upx file on my PC . .

I can tranfer it to Max2 internal storage . .

but how do i open the file to begin the update ?

I have read on other posts the terms "update from the Max2 while telling it the file is local" and "then start a manual update" BUT ..

I cannot find any way on my max2 to "tell it that the file is local" or "start manual update"

Can anyone explain how I can get my Max2 to begin this manual update ??

  To start the manual update on your Boox Max 2, move the update.upx file to the root of your internal storage. Then, go to "Settings," find "System," and look for the "Update" option. You should be able to manually select the file you moved over and start the update. If you don't see it, try restarting the device and check again.
