How to mark ebooks as "read"

Hi Folks, this is driving me crazy! How can I select a book title in my "library" tab and mark it as "read"? Long press does not bring this up as an option. I have gotten around the issue by creating a bookshelf called "read" and moving completed books to this shelf. Any help on an official way to "categorise" ebooks as read would be appreciated!
