E-ink degradation?

Hello, I have been using the Boox Note Air4 C for reading and note-taking and I have been loving it. Recently I have even found a relatively graphically intense game that I have actually enjoyed playing on the e-ink screen. This has meant that the screen has been in Ultrafast refresh mode much more recently. Somewhere I read however, that high refresh rates wear out e-ink screens quickly and that they will become faded over time, if used intensely for games or videos. Now I am wondering, whether I should avoid using apps that require high refresh rates, if I want my device to have a decent lifespan. Would be very happy to have some information on this.
