Can't get Boox Mira Onyx 13.3" to switch on / get out of standby mode

In 2021 I bought a brand new Boox Mira 13.3" that I used for about a week. It went into the drawer and was left unused for several years. Now I want to start using it again, I am unable to get my Boox out of standby / sleeper mode. When I connect it to my laptop it shortly starts up to the Boox Mira welcome screen, screen lights up and then it's back to sleeper mode. Any suggestions on how to fix this?? I've tried different USB-C cables but to no avail. Thanks, Peter

  In this case, please try to use both the USB-C cable and an HDMI-to-mini HDMI cable to connect the Mira to your laptop in the picture below. After that, please check if the problem can be fixed.
