Editing the same file on multiple boox devices

Hi all, 

I have two boox devices (boox max and max lumi II). For various reasons I like to switch between these devices and coedit pdfs on them. For example I like to read in the dark with the lumi II. I am using Neoreader. 

However everytime I sync the file from one device to the other, I get a popup asking me that annotations from a different device were detected. 

Is there a setting that makes the annotations compatible? Is it due to the different firmware? Is this something that can be "fixed"?

  Dear customer,
  It is normal that the NeoReader will ask if you want to sync the reading data. If you prefer to sync the reading data, you could click "Yes" when you see the popup window. However, if you wish not to sync the reading data, you can go to Library > Click the hamburger icon on the top right corner > Library Settings > disable the option "Sync all Reading Data to ONYX Account". After that, it will be sync reading data and will not show the popup window when you open the book.
