Boox Neo Reader Read out loud

I have a max lumi 2.  I am unable to reset the readout loud function to start at a different location within the pdf once it starts at a particular location.  The headphone icon is greyed out when i try to read at a different selected location.  

Is there any way of selecting a new word and reading from that location?

  Dear customer,
  In this case, please update the firmware to the latest version first. The beta version of firmware 4.0 is currently available for Max Lumi 2. You could go to Settings > Firmware Update > Apply for beta testing. After you join the test program, you can update the firmware to 4.0. Then, please check if the issue with the TTS can be fixed.
