How to have Notes automatically saved to a single folder

It appears that each of my Notes (from the Notes app) is stored as a .PDF in a separate folder. For example, Storage/note/Notepad1/Notepad1.pdf, Storage/note/Notepad2/Notepad2.pdf. Is there a way to have all the files automatically saved to a single folder instead?  I am using the Boox Note 2, firmware 2.3.1. Thank you!
