Unpredictable behavior of Split screen on Note Air

Note Air latest firmware update.

Split screen function defaults to a horizontal orientation (side by side screens). This leads to very tiny window on the reader side. 

Interestingly, sometimes the split screen created is in portrait orientation (top and bottom screens). This is much more useful in smaller screen devices like Note Air. However, there is no way to recreate the same orientation again.

  I would very much welcome the ability to induce a horizontal split screen in the portrait device orientation. Please include this feature.
