Opening PDF doesn't add a tab in neoreader from custom launcher

With firmware 3, when I open PDFs it no longer adds them as new tabs to Neoreader. I use a custom home screen (relaunchx), which worked perfectly until the new firmware version. With the new firmware version, Neoreader no longer has an updated list of tabs with the last 4 documents I had opened. 

How I use my device --

1. access PDF#1 from home screen (relaunchx), open it with neoreader.
2. Return to home screen, open different PDF (call it PDF#2) from relaunchx. Expect to be able to use neoreader's tab interface to go back to PDF1, but this is no longer possible. 

Can I get the original behaviour back, as it was in firmwrae 2.x?

  Hey Mark,

  I just got my BOOX Note Air recently but I found that you can see the tabs by clicking on the button with three lines in the floating toolbar.
