external annotations import

Hi,

It would be very useful to be able to import standard annotations on pdf's that were created in other software (like acrobat ). At the very least highlights and text annotations so that we can see and EDIT them from neoreader.

 

Note that practically every android pdf reader is able to to this. Why not neoreader? 

 

Is this something you are working on?

  I did notice that annotations made on a different onyx device  like Note 10 and then embedded in the pdf are available on the max. So it seems that neoreader is able to somehow import those annotations in the pdf. What makes those annotations special? Why can't I do the same with annotations from other applications.

  I completely agree. This is such a huge deficiency that I will need to probably purchase a non-Boox device as a workaround if it doesn't get resolved. I am able to view and edit highlights and comments no problem across my PC and Android phone...why not the Boox? Inexcusable

  I also have many PDF files that contain annotations made in Acrobat Reader and Edge browser, and I was hoping that I would be able to read them on boox note air. But my comments/notes/annotations are not displayed in boox note air, and I still have to use my laptop or mobile for PDFs.
