Handwriting recognition with images

Hi. When you have some notes with text, but also with some drawn images or schemes, but then when you use AI recognition it tries to also rewrite the images and it makes some random symbols. Is it possible to mark some area as image and it will not be rewritten? I do not know much about deep learning, but I know that there could be easily created an ouput, that can summarize the confidency and so it could ignore "things" which have totally low confidency. Thank you for any suggestions.
