Can not add Exchange account

Using Firmware 3.1 on the Max Lumi, there is no option to add an Exchange account using the native email app or the "System Accounts" menu, even though the manual specifically mentions Exchange as a possible account type. I can only add a "Personal (IMAP)" or "Personal (POP)" account, but of course this will only sync emails, not emails + calendars.
Could you re-add the Exchange provider or tell me how to enable/install it? This worked fine on the Max2, for instance.

  My advice is to use the Gmail app, which is much better than the regular Android Email app, and allows to configure multiple Exchange accounts.
