Update bricking my Note Air

I tried to install an ota update yesterday and it seemed to take a really long time. Went to sleep and when i woke up like 8 hours later it was still not finished.

So i rebooted the device and was told that something about the OS was corrupted so i should boot into recovery.

So i reset the device (hold power long; hold power for 7 seconds; press power 5 times) and got into recovery. But when i select "restart into bootloader" i just get an Onyx logo and nothing happens again. Deleting Data/Factory reset didn't help either.

What can i do? (i submitted a request to boox support as well, but since it is sunday to day i thought it was probably wise to ask the community as well)

  Well support said i have to send it in, so i guess it isn't a problem that one can fix at home.
