Lock highlighter colour in Notes

Hi there,

I would really like to know if there is a way to set the colour for the highlighter, for example as green, such that I can write with the pen in black, swap to the highlighter and highlight a word in green, then swap back to the pen and continue writing in black, without having to spend significant extra time changing the colour from black to green and vice versa on each occasion. If this feature is not available it would be greatly appreciated!

  I have been wondering the same thing, but I don't think saving/remembering the last colour used for that specific pen is a feature yet. Indeed this would be great to have as a feature, or otherwise the option to save two or three 'favorite pens' (combination of type of pen, thickness and colour) in the toolbar for quick access.
