failing notebook function

when I open the note book, there is a section in the page that alays remains blank, I cannot write over the section leaving a blank space on every page.

  Dear customer,
  We suspect the issue is related to the flap on the protective case. The flap has magnets inside, which will affect the magnetic field of the stylus. In this case, we suggest not folding the flap underneath the device, or you could try to remove the magnetic case. After that, please check if the problem can be fixed.
