File Size Increasing & Syncing Annotations
Hello, I'm having two issues with my Boox Note Max.
1. Note file size not decreasing after deletion
When I delete drawings or content from a note, the file size still keeps growing over time instead of shrinking. Even after removing large sections, the storage space doesn’t seem to be reclaimed. This makes notes unnecessarily large and consumes a lot of storage. I’m guessing cached or residual data might not be removed properly.
2. Annotations not disappearing in Google Drive (or other sync services)
I sync my notes with Google Drive, but I’ve noticed that if I delete annotations/drawings on the Boox, those deletions don’t always show up in the synced version. The result is overlapping writing when viewing the file in Drive.
The only reliable fix I’ve found so far is:

Export the notebook manually as a PDF from the Boox menu

Delete the original notebook on the device

Re-upload the exported version
This workaround is pretty time-consuming. Is there any way to force the sync to overwrite the cloud version instead of merging changes?
