Templates, notes

I have PDF files I load onto my Boox and write on them. I do want the option to import images to them which is NOT availble, I saw a vid where you can actually do this on the notes if you import the PDF as template. My problem that I have found is, although I like this process very much, I only need the template once and need to remove it. Seems the templates are just linked up and not saved. If I delete or move the templates, it also removes the template from notes and when I try to export, I loose the layers and the quality is not the same. My questions is. Is it possible to save the template to the New NOTE that does not go away when deleting or even moving the template into a folder within the template folder.
