Is there a way to copy/paste with lasso without enabling Tap/Long press in Notes?

I'm using Note X2.  I wonder if there is a way to lasso > copy > paste in another location or another page without enabling the "Tap/Long press" gesture.  I do not want to enable this feature because my palm keeps bringing up the long press menu and errors occur.  Please advise if there is another way.

  Dear customer,
  In this case, you can tap "Lasso" on the toolbar to select an item. Then, you can tap "Copy" from the menu at the top of the page to copy the item. After you turn to another page, you can tap "Lasso" on the toolbar and click "Paste" from the menu at the top of the page to paste the item.
