Notes not appearing

When I write notes in a PDF they do not appear on the document outside of the device itself. I want to be able to save them to my onedrive.I have activated all sync options I can find. It is not working.

  Dear customer,
  In this case, you could try to open the PDF > tap on the center of the page to bring up the menu > click "More" on the top right corner > Embed Data to PDF. Then, please try to take some notes and click "Save" on the handwriting toolbar. After that, please check if the problem can be fixed.
