Does handwriting conversion work throughout the Android OS?

Greetings,

Does handwriting conversion work throughout the Android OS or only in one notetaking app? Does is work in any text field such as Twitter?

  Dear Customer,

  The Onyx keyboard supports handwriting conversion. You could input handwriting on the keyboard and it will convert to the text and input them in a text field. The Onyx Keyboard can be activated via "Settings" > "Language&input" > "Current Input Method"
