Copy text from one Note to another

I have a Note Air 2 Plus.  Is there a way to copy text from part of a page from one note to another?  I've tried the Lasso tool but that just seems to allow me to only copy and paste the text within the same note.  I've also tried copying the text onto it's on page within the same note and Share or Export that page, but I can't get it into another note.  Is this by design, a bug or am I missing something?

  Dear customer, it is possible to copy part of notes from one notepad and paste them into another. You could follow the steps in the video below to do it.
