    In this case, please uninstall the Kindle app and try to download it through the Google Play store. If the problem persisted, please try the following steps:

    Please long-press the Kindle app icon > click "Manage" > "Storage & cache" > "Clear Storage". 

    And then, please also back to the "Manage" page > click "Permissions" > please allow "Storage" and "Contacts" and get it a try.

    If still unable to resolve the issue, we suggest submitting feedback via "Settings" > "Feedback" on your device. Please make sure that you tick the option "send logs" while sending the Feedback so that we can analyze and diagnose the exact problem better.
