PDF size vs. notes size | font size different
Hello,
I have noticed a problem when working with notes and PDF files (Neo-Reader), copying and pasting what is written.
I think that the font size is not the same for notes and PDF files.
Example:
When I selected font size 3 in notes and then copy and paste it in a PDF using the "Lasso" function, the writing is much "thicker".
While researching the problem, I came across the following situation:
Notes exported to PDF have a size of 495x660mm.
But the PDF is created in DinA4 (so 210x280mm).
This must be the problem.
If I create a PDF in the size 495x660mm (on the computer), then copying and pasting from what I have written is no problem, the font size is then the same.
Can this be set somehow, that the copied, then converted accordingly?
Or is it possible to change the dimensions of the notes to 210x280mm?
If yes, how?
I have also found this post here in the help:
https://help.boox.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4412040451732-Boox-Note-Air-v3-2-Huge-increase-of-size-for-PDF-files-generated-from-notes?input_string=PDF%20size%20vs.%20notes%20size%20%7C%20font%20size%20different
Does it possibly have something to do with it?
If there are no settings, does the PDF file have to be created with 495x660mm to work well with it?
Thanks a lot

Dear customer, we apologize for the inconvenience.
After checking with our tech team, we are afraid that it is unable to reduce the size of the canvas in a notepad. Therefore, when copying strokes from a notepad and pasting them to a small page size PDF, the stroke size will be bigger.
In this case, you could probably use the thinnest line (0.5) width in a notepad to take notes and copy them to the PDF. Or you could zoom in the canvas of notepad to around 50% to make your notes smaller, so when copying the strokes to the PDF, the size won't get too big.
We have forwarded this issue to our tech team, and we will do our best to improve the software of our device.
We appreciate your time and understanding.0 -
Dear Boox Team,
thank you very much for your reply.
You have asked for my understanding.
In fact, I must say that I understand the current state, but understanding of the whole issue and problem I do not have.Technically this should be solvable from my point of view.
The circumstance with zoom and font size so to regulate is from my point of view "maybe" currently to make to bridge the problem.
But in the long term (longer than 2 months) I can not accept.
I am not quite sure whether you understand my use case and the problem existing in it in the form, so that the urgency and priority was communicated correctly from my side? Can you understand my case?
Can you classify the high priority in terms of use with the e-INK and this case? Many thanks
