Front Lights

BOOX tablets provide an eye-friendly front light on E Ink screens when the ambient light is inadequate. Since Firmware V4.1, you can switch between four front light modes with a tap, or customize the front light settings manually to suit your preferences.

1. Swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center. Tap to choose different frontlight modes or drag the slider. You can control front light intensity with the first slider and color temperature with the second.

2. Or you can control it by setting Side Gestures: Settings＞System Navigation＞Side Gestures
3. You can also adjust it via the Settings page: Settings > Display > Brightness.
