Clear View: Slightly adjusts the layout and margins to optimize readability.
Scrolling View: Displays pages in a continuous vertical column. Connecting your device with a mouse, you can scroll with the scroll wheel.
Dual-Page View: Display two pages side by side.
Customize: You can define and save your preferred reading settings.
Enhance Text/Image
You can drag the slider or enter a value to bolden or enhance the text and the dark tones of the image.

Layout
In Firmware V4.1, the Layout tab within NeoReader appears only when you are reading fixed layout formats like PDF. You can choose different modes or reflow to get a better reading experience. Customize each setting by tapping each mode or reflow again.
Original: This mode is designed for documents that are already clear and have well-balanced page margins.
Extract Text: This mode is designed for text-dense documents such as journals, academic papers, and newspapers.
Comic Mode: This mode is designed for comic or manga files read from right to left.
Article Mode: This mode is designed for articles with more than one column on a page.
Crop/Custom: Here you can customize your subpage division settings, such as pages, blocks, or reading order.
| Note: You may need to try different modes or fine-tune the settings to find the best fit for your specific document. |
PDF OCR
OCR works in the background while you read PDFs, so you can continue turning pages and annotating without any wait. With Firmware V4.1, Crop OCR has been added alongside the original Page OCR. OCR any selected area without a full-page scan. Extract exactly what you need and then copy, translate, or share the result instantly. Perfect for scanned books, charts, or images with embedded text.
