Navigate Your Device
Learn the interface of your device and navigate through the Control Center, Screen Rotation, Gestures, Navigation Ball, and more.
System Bar
The System Bar is an informative area displayed on the top of your device to show time, Bluetooth connection, battery power, etc.
Control Center
The Control Center can be opened by swiping down from / tapping the right side of the System Bar. This area contains some quick settings for your devices. You can also customize the Shortcut Switches area by tapping the Edit icon in the upper right corner.
Notification Center
The Notification Center can be opened by swiping down from / tapping the left side of the System Bar. This area displays notifications from your device and apps. You can also manage notifications or perform Clear All from the top.
Screen Rotation
The screen of all tablet models can be rotated. If your device is designed with an asymmetric bezel, you can rotate the screen to place the slim side to your dominant hand so the wide side can be held by your non-dominant hand. Auto-rotate is only available for models with G Sensor.
- Swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center.
- Tap the Rotate button in the Shortcut Switches.
- Choose the preferred orientation in Manual rotation.
Function Tabs
The Function Tabs provide convenient access to your books, notes, and so on. It's displayed on the left by default. If you want to put it on the right, please do the following:
Settings > System Display>"Display the Function Tabs on the right"
Note: Not available for all models. Some models only display the Function Tabs at the bottom. |
Navigation Bar
Gestures
Tap: To select an item or choose an option.
Swipe Left: To go to the next page.
Swipe Right: To go to the previous page.
Three-finger Swipe Down: You can take a screenshot by swiping down the screen with three fingers. To enable or disable the gesture, go to Settings > Gestures > the "Other" tab
Long Press: To open a pop-up menu or check the properties of files.
2. Bottom Gestures
Swipe up in different parts from the bottom to perform quick actions. The bottom gestures shown below are the default settings. You can customize it by doing the following:

3. Side Gestures
Side gestures are turned off by default. You can enable and customize them by doing the following:
Settings>Gestures>“Side” Tab
Up-and-down Swipe
Swipe up or down on either side of the border to adjust the volume, front light, or contrast settings.
Left-and-right Swipe
Swipe left or right across the screen to go back and forth, return to the Home Screen, take screenshots, and so on.
Navigation Ball
Enable the Navigation Ball
There are two ways to turn on/off the Navigation Ball.
Method 1: Via the Navigation Ball App
Home Screen>Apps>Navigation Ball app>Turn on/off "Enable Navigation Ball"
Method 2: Via the Control Center
1. Swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center.
2. Tap the Navigation Ball button to turn it on or off.
Note: If you cannot find the Navigation Ball button on the Control Center, you may do the following: 1. Swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center. 2. Tap the Edit icon. 3. Drag and drop the Navigation Ball button to the enabled Shortcut Switches. |
Navigation Ball Gestures
Tap: Expand or collapse the navigation menu.
Double Tap: Return to the Home Screen.
Drag: Move the Navigation Ball.
Customize the Navigation Ball
There are 3 ways to customize the Navigation Ball. You can customize the buttons' display style, opacity, and size. You can choose which button to be shown on the menu or pin it as an independent floating button.
1. Home Screen>Apps>Navigation Ball app.
2. Long press the Navigation Ball button in the Control Center.
3. Tap the Navigation Ball>Navigation Ball Settings button.
