Display Settings

In this article, you will learn how to set up some basic display preferences for your BOOX device.

In Home Screen, go to Settings > System Display.

System Font Size

Here you can adjust the system-wide font size based on your reading preference.

Here you can choose your system font. To import fonts, please tap System Fonts＞Import Font

Note: Importing fonts is only available in some models.

Full-refresh Frequency

Unlike LED and LCD, E Ink has a special mechanism for display and refresh. Here you can set the frequency to perform a full refresh based on your actions. The more taps you need, the more ghosting it will accumulate before a full refresh.

Custom Home Screen

Here you can set the preferred Function Tab when returning to the Home Screen and rearrange the Function Tabs by drag and drop.

Only display icons of function tabs

When disabled, the Function Tabs will display icons and text. When enabled, the Function Tabs will display icons only.

* Display the function tabs on the right

When disabled, the function tabs will display on the left, suitable for right-handers. When enabled, the function tabs will display on the right, ideal for left-handers.

Note: Not available for all models. Some models will always display the function tabs at the bottom and unavailable for customization.

Only drop down the System Bar by pulling down

When enabled, you will not be able to open the Control Center or the Notification Center by tapping.
