Screensavers

In this article, you will learn how to set the screensaver and shutdown image for your BOOX device.

Screensaver

In Home Screen, go to Apps > Screensaver > Screensaver style. Here you can set different kinds of screensavers when the device is in sleep mode.

Image Screensaver: Here you can select one or multiple images as the screensaver. When multiple images are selected, the screensaver will be shown in a carousel format. You can tap Select Images to choose the images from Local, System, Cloud, and Push.

Memo Screensaver: It will show the memo of today in the Calendar Memo app as the screensaver.

Clock Screensaver: It will show the time and date as the screensaver.

Transparent Screensaver: It will keep the current screen as the screensaver, especially useful when you need to keep the current screen for a prolonged period. But please beware of protecting your personal information when using this function.

Monthly Calendar Screensaver: It will show the time, battery status, date, and monthly calendar as the screensaver. You can switch between the light theme and the dark theme.

Note:

1. The auto-shutdown function will not be activated if your screensaver contains the clock.

2. Monthly Calendar Screensaver is only available in some models.

Shutdown Image

In Home Screen, go to Apps > Screensaver > Shutdown image setting. Here you can customize your shutdown image when the device is powered off.
