System Split Screen

The Split Screen function is one of the most powerful features for multitasking on your BOOX device. Just like the computer, it allows you to use different apps within one screen at the same time. In this article, you will learn how to use Split Screen on your BOOX device.
Note: The Split Screen function is not available for all models and all apps.

Horizontal Mode & Vertical Mode
The device can split the screen in 2 different directions: Horizontal or Vertical. The Horizontal Mode will change the screen orientation to horizontal (landscape) view and divide it left and right. The Vertical Mode will change the screen orientation to vertical (portrait) view and divide it up and down.
Split Screen for Third-Party Apps
To use Split Screen for third-party apps, do the following:
- During the use of a third-party app, swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center.
- Tap the Split Screen button.
- Choose your preferred Split Screen mode.
- Flexible Split Screen: You can drag the central white spot on the boundary to adjust the proportion of the two sections.
Note: 1. It's recommended to use Flexible Split Screen when you're using third-party apps. 2. Flexible Split Screen is only available in Note Air3 C, Note Air3, and Tab Ultra C Pro. |
Swap Sides
To swap the positions of both sides, do the following:
- In the Split Screen status, swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center.
- Tap the Split Screen button.
- Tap the Swap Sides button.
Exit Split Screen
To exit the Split Screen status, do the following:
- In the Split Screen status, swipe down from the top right corner to open the Control Center.
- Tap the Split Screen button.
- Tap the Exit Split Screen button.
or
- Return to the Home Screen via Gestures, Navigation Bar or Navigation Ball directly.
