Switch to V2 Engine

The V2 Engine of NeoReader is our latest reading engine with the compatibility of more file formats and other powerful features. Some models will automatically switch to the V2 Engine when updated to the latest firmware. Please make sure NeoReader has switched to the V2 Engine to enjoy the best reading experience.
 
To switch to the V2 Engine, do the following:
  1. Tap any book file in the Library to open NeoReader.
  2. Tap the center area to display the main menu.
  3. Tap the hamburger menu in the top right corner and choose Settings > Other Settings.
  4. Make sure "Use the V2 engine to open the document" is enabled.
  5. Toggling may lead to automatic exit of NeoReader. You need to reopen the book file manually.
 
Noteļ¼š
  1. The V2 Engine is not able to load or transfer the previous reading data from the original engine, such as bookmarks, annotations and handwritten notes. You can check them by switching to the original engine temporarily.
  2. Since the V3.1 firmware, please switch the NeoReader to the V2 Engine before updating to avoid data loss and mess.
