Forgotten Pin - Note Air 2 Plus

I have forgotten my Pin on my new Note Air 2 Plus. I've tried the resent (holding the on button until it turns blue) but it tells me that this model doesnt support password resetting....

 

Help!

  I had to contact the people I bought it from and they told me how to get back in.You can’t re-set the password; you are just able to go to a factory re-set. Hopefully, you might have your notes etc backed-up to box. I think I was lucky - i didn’t realise that somehow I had back-up going - I struggle with the manual a bit.

  Sheila how do you factory reset without the pin? I tried but it's asking for the pin before I can continue
