[bug] v3.3.1: Incorrect library sorting: recent books won't sort properly unless I long-press and choose "Open In..."
Hi! I just updated to firmware 3.3.1 on my Note Air 2 and I'm having a problem.
I prefer to sort my library to show recently read books at the top so I can easily find them again. This works if you use NeoReader, but I need to use a third-party reading app. I have KOReader set as the default app to open epub files.
If I go to my library and tap an older book to open it, its position in the list doesn't change. This makes it really hard to find what I was recently reading.
To reproduce this issue:
- Open your library
- Ensure the "Filter and sort" setting (hamburger menu) is set to sort by "Reading Time"
- Turn off all of the reading progress syncing features etc
- Long-press an old book and select "Open In," and open it in a third-party app like KOReader
- Exit the app
Expected behavior: The book should jump to the top of your library because you recently read it
Actual behavior: The book's position in the library does not change. If it's on the second page for example, it stays buried there.
Mitigation: I can open books in NeoReader which updates the library sorting properly, but firmware v3.2 properly handled updating the recent book list when opening files in third-party apps and it doesn't since v3.3.1.
Is there any workaround? Is it possible to downgrade? This regression makes it much harder to find what I've recently read in my library.
Thanks for a great product!
