Standard Android Pattern Lock for Android 11?

I have an Onyx Boox Leaf 2 and I'd like to use the regular Android pattern lock to secure my device instead of a numeric PIN. How can I do this? I don't mind using adb or other technical tools to modify the device so long as the specific packages etc. are safe and work well. Thank you!
