Why oh why no SIM-card / mobile data support?
I already own a Note Air 2 Plus, and previously owned both ReMarkable 1 and 2. For me, the Boox devices are an excellent laptop replacement and travel companion, and I am thinking about getting the Tab Ultra C.
One thing is holding me back. The lack of mobile data support, through a SIM or e-SIM.
This is the one thing I am missing - it would make the Boox devices the ultimate travel companion, a true mobile office. I can't figure out why Boox isn't offering these devices with GSM connectivity - even 4G would be enough. Any plans in this regard?

you could use your phone's WIFI settings to create a wifi hotspot.
The Boox can now use that WIFI . without the need for all the different LTE frequency bands in the world build in it or the 5G in Europe or 8G in Norway. It would make the Boox heavy and power hungry. You can set a Wifi-Hotspot to automatically connect to a device and disconnect when it is turned off or out of reach.

I'm also interested in this Feature. Please at least tell us if this is currently not an interest of Onyx Boox so we know not to keep out hopes up. I would very much like an eInk Phone with SIM compatibility.

@John R. - of course I can use my phone Hotspot, but it drains battery quickly and you can't connect the phone to wifi when the Hotspot is on. When traveling you need more battery capacity, not less.
